The social issues that haunt the Indian social and cultural system include all those factors that are responsible for deteriorating the growth of India as an economy. After all, the society is also a part of the economy as a whole. The first issue is related to the caste system. In spite of the development of the Indian economy in the world, this system has its roots so deep in the cultural system of India that it still has its effect on the people.

This issue, particularly, is spreading its roots in the society and is slowly prevailing in the society on a large scale. That is why this issue is a grave issue today.
The third issue is related to the marriage of children and the child labor. In spite of all the new beliefs that are responsible for creating a new India, this problem has not been controlled in the recent time. Child labor makes the incorrect use of the energy of the children and imposes burden on their childhood. This needs to be stopped soon.
